On arrival a note on the door told me to go to the Hotel Sinaia over the road. I was told I was staying there instead which apparently is quite common when bookings are low, they combine everybody in to the one hotel.
The advantage of this is that I was moved from a 2 star to a 4 star hotel at no cost to myself.
The view from the room was fabulous, in fact the picture of the Rina Cerbul above looks like it was taken from my room. But also the window opened properly and you had views up and down the whole valley.
The breakfast was the most varied I have ever seen in any hotel.

This is a truly exceptional place. In Foișorul cu Flori you find attention to the least details, comfort, quality of services, including food and drinks at the Restaurant. Sinaia is considered the Carpathian's gem, for me Foișorul cu Flori is Sinaia's gem. The new facilities (the Spa Center) add value to this fabolous place.

We visited in May. There's really nothing to do there apart from visit Peles Castle. They basically roll the pavements up about 7pm. Wish we had stayed another day in Brasov and travelled in for a half day trip to see the castle.

Sinaia is a place to go for skiing maybe and visiting the famous Peles and Pelisor castles. Other than that, the resort is dirty, sad looking and very crowded. The air seems very polluted so you’ll not be getting that fresh mountain air you want. I would go through Sinaia again, but not to stay.

A beautiful city any time of the year.
A beautiful city any time of the year. We went during December and it was amazing, the decorations were beautiful, the city hall looks like a small castle and the trees were all with charismas lights. Beautiful place to stay and one can do a lot of stuff, visiting castles, taking long walks, plus there are plenty of places with good food.

Great place for weekend escapes with family or friends.
Great place for weekend escapes with family or friends. Plenty of local cuisine restaurants and huge number of places to stay at a very reasonable price. The only bad thing is the traffic, expect up to 2-3 hours in standstill traffic while travelling to Sinaia.

A stunning place to visit!
A stunning place to visit! Gorgeous setting in the mountains and lots to see while you're there. We loved Peles and Pelisor castles and their fairytale setting. Our accommodation Casa Larisa was incredible and we enjoyed a delicious meal at Forest Restaurant. Cofetaria Palace in the park makes a tasty smoothie and tempting ice cream and cafe treats. Loved it in the summer and imagine its beuatiful in winter too!

Charming town with fresh and tasty air, many cafe and opportunity for good shopping.
We ate in restaurants in hotel Sinaia: one inside, one - outside. Both were very good.
The views are amazing, the architecture is fantastic: every house is like a small castle.
The park is so beautiful. You just want to stay there for hours.
This is one of the best places I've stayed in, certainly in Romania. It's a comfy, cozy, and clean place, and a comfortable short walk from the center of Sinaia. I was here for a conference and on a budget. It satisfied all my needs. I'm extremely sensitive to noise but got perfect sleep. I was able to cook meals. The Internet worked well. Most of all, the staff was friendly and helpful. In fact, on my last day I ran into a transportation problem. Eugen did something exceptional and out of his way to help me out.
Wonderful location, with very large rooms, comfortable bed, 2 bathrooms and a very nice view over the city. The room was kept clean, on the second day of our arrival we had the room cleaned.
Accessibly location, not far from center and main attractions points in Sinaia.
the breakfast was served in another location close-by, 5 mins walking distance, no problems at all for us to move to another location. The breakfast was excellent, provided most of the products you would expect to find in a 4-5 stars hotel.
Everything overall, you can see that they are trying to maintain a good quality hotel.
- very nice room, modern, clean
- very kind reception, always helped with everything
- great restaurant in the hotel, with a great bar
- amazing breakfast with everything you want
- amazing SPA
- good service
- great location, mountain view, I think it is in the center of the city of Sinaia, a lot of shops close ( same street ), a lot of things that you can visit ( under 30 min drive )
Modern, spacious and clean. The perfect place to stay in Sinaia. Despite the listing not including parking there was lots of free street parking out the front. It's an easy flat walk to where the restaurants are in town. From most other properties you'd be walking up or down a steep hill on your way there and back. The shower had good pressure and the bathroom was modern. There were power outlets next to the bed which is great for charging your phone.
It was the best hotel I have stayed in Romania(and I am not exaggerating at all). The staff understands very well what good services mean. They are willing to help you with everything, very friendly, etc. The spa was excellent, very intimate but with a lot of facilities. The restaurant was elegant and with a lot of options from which to choose. And above all, the location: very remote, quite, in the middle of the nature. We will definitely come back!
We like everything about the hotel, location, standard of hotel, hotel staff - very friendly and polite (all across reception, restaurant, spa and housekeeping), my special request to have some small surprise for my Fiance in the hotel room on arrival - 100% completed, even I was surprised (no extra costs) we really recommend the hotel and I hope we will have a chance to stay in Sinaia Hotel again in the future 😍
We stayed at Pensiunea Nicolas in Sinaia on the 10-11 of august and it was probably the highlight of our trip. The hotel is wonderful, located right below several beautiful mansions and about 5-10 minutes walking downhill from the city center.
Christian was so welcoming and extremely helpful with loads of bureaucracy that we had to deal with in Romania.
We really recommend this place.
Elad & Shani
Clean, super friendly and helpful staff. Restaurant offers delicious courses.
Mountain loving people who looked after us even outside service hours ❤️ Breakfast starts at 7:30, but they made it for us at 7am so we could be on time for our mountain tour. True to legendary Romanian hospitality, they sent us on our way with traditional Romanian specialties.
The hotel is right on the walking street, next to restaurants and caffees and right behind the beautiful park downtown Sinaia. It's also close to the Peleș Castle, which is in walking distance. The rooms are spotless, beautifully decorated and the service is excellent. If the size of the room is not an issue, I highly recommend this hotel.
Vila Arizto is a truly boutique-hotel in terms of everything! And the staff together with the owner is undoubtedly the cherry on top.
Perfect location (15.min max by foot to Sinaia's downtown), dreamy rooms (each one decorated in a different style), yummy quality breakfast to savour on the terrace facing the mountains.
The location is absolutely gorgeous and exceptional. It is situated at the beginning of the mountain level. You have the amazing views of the mountains & we were very luck to get some snow showers and had the great experience to visit some restaurants (typically Romanian dishes) down in the city of Sinaia.
I was called from Rina Cerbul hotel before the stay to let me know that my accommodation will actually be at Sinaia Hotel, so the review is for Sinaia Hotel. They informed me nicely that I have been moved to Sinaia hotel.
They are across the street from each other, so both in the very center of Sinaia.
It was very clean, everyday they changed the used towels and replaced used toiletries, the food from the restaurant was good, the breakfasts was various and very good, the hotel is placed near a lot of montain trails.
Everything was perfect! We totally recommend this place: great location 10 min to Peles Castle, perfect breakfast with Romanian typical food, the room was clean and the bed very comfortable 🫶 see you soon!
Good location and good food at the restaurants. Restaurant staff at the Italian restaurant was very nice and friendly! Good bowling area for children as well within the hotel.
The hotel has a nice placement, in the bottom of the Main Road of Sinaia, the SPA area is amazing, the two restaurants inside the hotel are great and the staff was fantastic.
